Red Rock Canyon School's approach to drug treatment and rehabilitation is to provide the youth with coping skills. We follow the work that was created by Stephen Biddulph for Hazelden,"Adolescent Recovery Track." Our treatment philosophy is to also provide enough successful situations that the student will learn that they do not need to drugs to survive. We accomplish this task by keeping the students busy from morning till night. Some of the areas that the child can experience success is academics, athletics, music, art, to name just a few. Red Rock Canyon School also offers psychiatric evaluations to try to determine if the child suffering from self medication behaviors. After the child has been evaluated the medical staff will discuss the findings with parents.
